Dear Mr. Christiansen,

you were kind enough to let us know by an earlier letter that you would agree to our printing text
"Kaffee I"
"Kaffee II"
"Körper und Klopfen"
"Dialektische Evolution IV"

in our paperback anthology HAPPENINGS, which will be edited by Jürgen Becker and Wolf Vostell. The book is scheduled for publication August I965.

A already agreed upon after publication we shall transfer your royalty which will be DM 6.00 per printed page. Later editions will be paid pro rata. By payment of a royalty of DM 6.00 per printed page Rowohlt Verlag acquires only the right of publication in this anthology. All German subsidiary rights remain with the author. We should like to ask you to be kind enough to sign the here enclosed copy of this letter and notify the exact bank account where you want the money to have to be send to.

Concerning the foreign language rights - which means if any foreign publisher wants to take our whole book complete and unabridged into his list - we would be most grateful if you would agree that your text might be used in possible foreign language editions and that the proceeds from such rights will be shared between us on the basis 50 : 50.

A copy of the book will be mailed to you immediately after publication.
